Veg KhatKhate with Mouli Ganguly – Rina Khana aur Peena | Goan Dish

Veg Khat Khate is an authentic and simple to cook Goan Dish. It’s an oil free and healthy dish which you can cook using all the vegetables at home (avoid Lady Finger (bhindi), Egg Plant(baigan) & Bitter Gourd(karela))
1 bowl chopped Pumpkin ( kaddu)
1 bowl chopped Bottle gourd ( lauki)
1 bowl chopped Radish ( mooli)
1 bowl chopped Carrot ( Gajar)
1 bowl chopped Beans
1 bowl chopped Cauliflower ( Phool Gobhi)
1 bowl Chickpea-white ( Kabuli Chana)
1 Corn cut into 3 pcs ( Bhutta)
1 bowl grated Coconut ( Nariyal)
4 dried Red Chillies( sukhi Lal Mirch)
½ spoon Turmeric ( Haldi)
½ spoon Pepper Powder( Kuti kaali mirch)
1 spoon Jaggery ( Gud)
2 spoons Tamrind pulp ( Imli ka paani)
2 cups of water ( paani)
Salt to taste(Namak)
Chop all vegetables uniformly. In a pan mix the water and cook all the vegetables on low flame for 10 minutes. Grind the coconut, red chillies and turmeric, add little water and make a thick paste. Add the paste to the vegetables in the pan. Add Kabuli chana and let the vegetables cook for 10 minutes. Now add tamrind pulp, jaggery and salt to taste. Mix well. Your KHAT KHATE is ready to serve.
