Instead of the oven can this be cook in a grill? I would think that it should work, but just checking to see if anyone tried a grill instead of the oven. Hey it's summer :-)

can you grill this or will the sugar burn?

  16. I make the sauce and pour over chicken thighs in a freezer bag. Massage like usual, then, …I stick them in the freezer. I now have a meal that is easy to prepare for dinner. All I have to do is cut up an onion into rings, peel off the freezer bag, cover with foil and bake. Quite often I bake it frozen. Yes, it does not have the crispy top that Chef John has but it still looks cool because I use old fashioned Dijon mustard (coarse). I start the oven on 350F until I can separate them then increase the oven to 425F – 450F depending on how hungry I am. 🙂 I make garlic mashed potatoes and the sauce is great on them.

I made this last week and it was delicious. However, the leftovers were absolutely the most rancid thing I have ever eaten. So a word of advice to anyone making this recipie; try to eat everything the night you make it!
