Ingredients list

Radish sambar

2 radishes ( I have used korean radish)
2.5 cups water ( adjust to desired consistency)
1 cup cooked toor dal /split pigeon pea /togari bele
Few curry leaves
Salt as required
1 tbsp jaggery powder
Masala

1 cup grated fresh or desiccated coconut
4 bunch coriander leaves
3 and half tbsp curry powder /sambar powder
1 onion
1 big tomato (I have used 4 because they were ultra small)
Tamarind extract (lemon sized tamarind)
Water
Tempering

2 tbsp cooking oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
2 dried red chillies
A big pinch hing
1 tomato

Moong dal and carrot salad

1th cup moong dal / hesaru bele – soaked 1 hour
1 carrot
2 tbsp grated fresh coconut
1 tbsp coriander leaves Chopped
Salt as required
1th tsp aamchur powder / dry mango powder (or 1 tbsp lemon juice)
1 tbsp oil
1th tsp mustard seeds
A pinch of hing /asafoetida
2 dried red chilli
1 green chilli
Few curry leaves

Pepper rasam

2 tbsp oil
1th tsp mustard seeds
1th tsp cumin seeds
1 green chilli
4 crushed garlic cloves
Few curry leaves
2 cups water
1 tbsp jaggery
1 tbsp crushed pepper powder
1 tbsp cumin powder
Salt as required
2 tbsp coriander leaves Chopped
1th tsp turmeric and a big pinch hing /asafoetida
1 tomato
Tamarind extract (lemon sized tamarind)

Masala or spiced butter milk

2 cups butter milk
1 tbsp chopped coriander
Few curry leaves
1 inch grated ginger
Salt as required
