Judy, can I use active dry yeast instead of quick rise yeast.
Thank you for the great recipe! The rolls have been a hit with family/friends.
What brand of all purpose flower do you use Judi?
Do you bake these on the bottom rack of the oven?
judy is going to be better than that it's going to be a family tradition every Thanksgiving. you are a blessing to somebody that you don't even know thank you so much again! :-)
hello Judy I made those dinner rolls and they came out really good I made them on Thanksgiving Day and the whole family love them thank you for an awesome recipe. I did make a batch prior to Thanksgiving for practice because I wanted them to turn out on Thanksgiving Day. thank you so much. :-)
This recipe worked great! Thank you!
I made those roll they came out really good thank you.
Thank you for sharing I am going to try them.
Judi in the Kitchen, thank you so much for sharing this recipe, I feel SO ACCOMPLISHED, I have tried and tried and was never successful at achieving a light soft fluffy roll, thanks to you I just did.
Your recipe for these rolls is a top contender for our Thanksgiving Dinner menu. I really want the pretty Clover Leaf rolls, could I use your dough recipe and make it into three balls each for muffin pans, let rise etc.???
the dinner rolls came out nice, I took a roll to taste it and it was good. But I didn't let it cool. I hope it does not dry out. I will let you know later.
I just followed your recipe and they sure smell good but I'm saving them for supper. My rolls always come out dense.
Question: What makes dinner rolls dense and not come out fluffy? I did not use bread flour. Is it because of under-kneading? Or over-kneading?
Hello Judi, I am new to the bread game and thus far have had a hard time getting fluffy light bread. They taste fine for toast but thats about it haha to dense. I believe my problem is not enough kneading, I don"t have a mixer so I'm in this oldschool, thoughts? I tried your rolls today, and they weren't pretty, but they were perfect otherwise! Fluffy and melt in your mouth. I was nervous at first because my dough didn't look as wet as yours, but they turned out great.
Made these rolls for a football game. They came out great! Thanks! Do you think I could use this recipe to make monkey bread?
is there anyway I can get the written recipe
Thank you! they came out perfectly!!
Judi just wanted to let you know that I made this roll recipe today and they are so tender they melt in your mouth! I made them large like hamburger buns to use with some home made sloppy Jo's I made and the family loves them!! Thanks for an awesome recipe! Love your spirit and your video's!!!
I have trouble making bread they never rise for me 😞😞😣
