Sunday Indian lunch routine recipes. I was checking my refrigerator this Sunday and found many unused vegetables which would would get spoiled in a week of left unused.
So I decided to make few recipes out of them for Sunday’s lunch menu.

Ingredients list
****************

Cabbage stir fry / ele kosu palya / poriyal
****** **** ********************* *********

1 cabbage finely chopped
2 tablespoons cooking oil
1 teaspoon each – mustard seeds, channa dal, urad dal
Few curry leaves
Juice of 1th lemon
Salt as required
2 tablespoons Coriander leaves Chopped
Coconut and green chilli paste as required ( 1 cup grated fresh coconut and 4 green chillies, I have used the same paste for 3 dishes)

Carrot and green beans stir fry / carrot and beans palya / poriyal
******* ******** * * ************************

1 carrot
15 green beans
2 tablespoons cooking oil
1 teaspoon each – mustard seeds, channa dal, urad dal
Few curry leaves
Salt as required
1 cup water and 1 tablespoon oil to cook vegetables
Coriander leaves Chopped
Coconut – chilli paste as required

Dal fry / togari bele saaru
**************************

1th cup toor dal cooked / split pigeon pea
1 teaspoon each – mustard seeds, cumin seeds, coriander powder
1th teaspoon pepper powder
1 tomato
Chopped coriander leaves
Salt as required
Vegetable stock
Water to adjust consistency
1th teaspoon sugar to balance the flavor
1 tablespoon Coconut – chilli paste

Cauliflower bonda / Hu kosu bonda
*********** ************ ***********

15 cauliflower florets
(soak in hot water, turmeric and salt mix for 2 minutes)
2 tablespoons chickpea flour / besan
2 tablespoons maida
1 and half tablespoons corn flour
Juice of half lemon
1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
Salt as required
Less than 1th teaspoon turmeric
1 tablespoon red chili powder
Cooking oil for deep frying
