This potato salad recipe is one of our favorite things to make for a Fourth of July BBQ! It’s made with red potatoes, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, fresh dill, and a few other ingredients. Double the recipe for a big crowd!
5 red potatoes boiled and chopped
5 hard-boiled eggs chopped
1 cup celery chopped
1/2 yellow onion chopped
1 cup dill pickles chopped
Mayonnaise enough to coat
Dijon mustard to taste
Lawry’s Seasoned Salt to taste
Onion powder to taste
Garlic powder to taste
ground pepper to taste
1/2 cup fresh dill chopped
Mix all ingredients together, using your discretion with mayo and seasonings. (We are generous with the Dijon mustard and seasoned salt).
2. Top with a few extra sprigs of fresh dill and chill overnight.

Can I use brown potato instead of red? it's not easy to find red potato in my local market.
Nothing beats a good potato salad and this one looks great. Thanks for sharing xox
Woah… never knew about the spinning egg trick. That is cool! Going to have to try that next time I hardboil some eggs.
I love watching your videos while I'm eating…it is very VERY appetizing 😉
Thanks for posting chef
Hi, I love all your food! My sister and I would love if you could possibly do more desserts please thank you!
You are the man . I love you style cooking :)
Sounds good chef, I'll be trying this one!!!
I'm so trying that egg trick! LOL Oh, and the salad looks so goood…
This looks really good, Chef Jason. You do things like I do- "Put this in until it looks about right, taste, put that in, taste. . hmm, needs a little more. . ." I would find it very difficult to write down a recipe for the things I frequently make.
I wonder, have you ever tried Johnny's Seasoning Salt? It's my favorite; I've been using it for decades.
THanks chef Jason 4 the c00l recipe!! you've got my subscribtion!!!!11
I'd take out the nasty Celery though. lol
Looking good!
This is the potato salad my Mom taught me to make!
Mmm, I think I need to try making this soon! Looks so easy :)
Will this taste good with russet potatoes?
Love this, I'll try :)
Yum
You should fold in Hollandaise Sauce or a mix of Cream Cheese and Mayo! I've never done it but just a decadent idea.
