Some new moms have dietary restrictions. Beans and other gassy foods are sometimes avoided by nursing mothers.

Italian slow cooker Chilli Recipe:
1-2 bell peppers diced
1 large onion diced
2 cans each of :
White Kidney Beans (cannellini beans)
12 oz can of crushed tomatoes
3 tbs (more or less) of Italian seasoning
3 tbs chilli powder
Salt and Pepper to Taste
Combine ll ingredients in slow cooker and set to HIGH for 3 hours or LOW for 5 hours. Check and Stir periodically. Serve over pasta or rice and top with parmesan and mozzarella cheese.
EASY ARTISAN BREAD:
-1 Tbsp yeast
-16-18 oz hot water
-2 Tbsp olive oil – 2 tsp salt
-Extra flour to handle dough
Dissolve 1 Tbsp yeast in 8oz warm water. When bubbly (10 minutes) add 5 cups flour, 2 tsp salt, 2 Tbsp olive oil. While mixing with dough hook (or by hand) add additional 8-10 oz of warm water until you have a wet dough, The dough has to be wet, almost like a batter, but dry enough to pick up with floured hands. Place on floured surface, cover let rise for 25 minutes. With floured hands, divide dough and place in rounds onto sprayed cooking sheets, score top of loaves with sharp knife. BEFORE preheating your oven, place at the bottom of your oven, on the lowest rack, an oven proof pan. Fill pan with water. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. When oven reaches temperature, CAREFULLY open oven door, steam will escape so go slowly so you don’t steam burn yourself. Bake bread for 20-25 minutes. When done, again, slowly open the oven door and remove bread. Leave pan of water until oven cools down enough to safely remove without chance of burning yourself. Let bread cool and ENJOY!
